Welcome to Westside Day Camps!

All the information, forms and waivers you need are listed in the tabbed chart below.

Register for day camps by visiting eRegistration or Customer Service.

Participants must be the appropriate age within 30 days of the program start date to register for camp. Some exceptions apply due to the nature of the program.

Registrations for weekly camps end on the Monday prior to the start of camp. For daily camps, registration closes 48 hours prior to the camp date. This allows us to schedule adequate staff for camps.

Please bring your registration confirmation with you to check into and pick up from day camp.

Please see your registration confirmation for a list of required forms for your child’s day camp. Forms below are fillable, printable, and must be signed electronically or manually in ink by a parent or legal guardian. Children must be signed in and out by a parent. Parents may authorize another adult to sign their child in and out, or allow children 10 years and older to sign themselves in and out, by completing the Authorized Pick Up Form.

Sign-in begins at 8:45 am for full day camps and 10 minutes prior to camp start time for half day camps. Latecomers will be required to wait for an available staff person to assist in locating the camp. Sign-out begins 10 minutes prior to camp end time. If your child needs to leave early, inform your camp leader at drop off time and they will let you know where the camp will be for pick up.

Children not picked up within 10 minutes of camp end time will be transferred to post-care. Post-care fees will apply.

Westside reserves the right to request identification from any person picking up a child from camp. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to ensure the safety and security of your children.

For the safety of all our participants, the following lifejacket rules apply effective March 1, 2017:

Participants 7Y and under are required to wear a lifejacket during swim activities.

Participants 8Y-12Y are required to wear a lifejacket during swim activities and/or successfully complete a Swim Admission test. Swim Admission tests will be conducted during camp.

Westside reserves the right to require the use of a lifejacket for swim activities during programs.

Do not send your child to camp when he/she is ill.  If your child becomes ill at camp, you will be called to come pick him/her up.

If your child requires medication during camp, please complete a Medication Record Form. Both the form and medication to be administered must be given to the camp leader or supervisor for secure storage. Emergency medication such as inhalers and auto-injectors will be kept with your child, in a labeled portable bag (ex: fanny pack), for the entire camp time.

Westside happily welcomes children with special needs. To ensure that your child has an enjoyable experience, please complete the medical portion of your registration.

If your child requires emergency medical attention, every effort will be made to notify a parent. However, in the event a parent cannot be reached, EMS will be called and efforts to reach a parent will continue.

Please ensure the emergency numbers we have on file for your child are current.  Unsure?  Contact Customer Service at 403.531.5875.

Bring only the items requested in your registration confirmation to camp, in a bag or backpack. Clearly label all belongings.

Do not bring personal items such as electronics, cell phones, toys or items of value. Children will not be permitted to use them during camp.

Summer Camps: lost and found items are stored in the leisure ice area for the week of camp. At the end of the week, lost and found items will be transferred to Customer Service and stored for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Winter/Spring Camps: lost and found items are stored in the sign in/out location for each camp. At the end of the week, lost and found items will be transferred to the Customer Service and stored for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Westside is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Q:  I can see there are open spots available for a camp, but it won’t let me register.  Why?

A:  Camp registrations close the Monday prior to the camp’s start date for weekly camps, and 48 hours prior for daily camps. This allows Westside to schedule adequate staff/participant ratios.

Q:  How do waitlists work?

A:  Waitlists are processed in the order of sign-up, and you will be notified of openings by telephone. If you are offered a spot, you have 24 hours to register. If you do not register within 24 hours, the open spot will be offered to the next person on the list.

Q:  Can I register my child for an older age group?

A:  Participants must be the appropriate age within 30 days of the program start date to register for camp. Our goal is to provide the best quality camp experience for all registrants by strictly enforcing age requirements.

Q:  Can my child stay at Westside between two half-day camps?

A:  No. Westside does not offer a lunch service. You must pick up your child between camps.

Q:  How do I arrange pre- or post-care?

A:  Register on-line or contact Customer Service at 403.531.5875 to register.

Q:  Who can I contact if I need to get an emergency message to my child during camp?
