Working at Westside
Join our amazing staff team!
Since 2000, our employees have been delivering safe, healthy and fun recreation. If you are enthusiastic, professional and would like to be a part of a great team, check our current Job Opportunities.
Youth volunteers bring skills to our programs and enrich the lives of Calgary's children, youth, adults and seniors. Most of all, volunteers help Westside keep its promise to serve our communities. We couldn't do it without them!
Expect to commit to at least one 2-3 hour shift per week. Volunteers must be 13Y to 17Y or have taken the F.L.Y. Fostering Leadership in Youth program, and have at minimum Emergency First Aid with CPR C. All youth volunteers are partnered with a staff member for supervision.

Give to Westside
Westside was built by community. Neighborhood volunteers, in partnership with the City of Calgary, Province of Alberta and hundreds of generous donors, achieved the dream of building Westside Recreation Centre in 2000 and expanding the centre in 2010.
Westside is a registered charity. Gifts are currently directed to future expansion projects or an area of your choice and can be made with cash, cheque or credit card. Charitable tax receipts are issued for all donations of $25 or more. Recognition and naming opportunities are offered to those who are interested.
For information on giving, please contact the Fund Development & Communications Manager by email or telephone at 403.531.5875 Ext 265.
Thank you for your interest and support!
