We are pleased to announce that Westside has reopened specific facilities and programs starting Monday, June 14.
We’ve missed you! Thank you for your patience as we’ve been working to reopen our doors in a healthy, safe and positive way for our communities.
Due to capacity restrictions, Westside remains open exclusively to reactivated Westside members and pass holders by reservation only at this time. Welcome back, we can’t wait to see you!
Starting Monday, June 14:
- Workouts in the Fitness Centre (16Y+)
- Adult group exercise classes
- Youth workouts
- Personal training services
- Lane swimming
- Aquatic fitness classes
- Hockey ice rentals
- Massage therapy services with Cascadia Therapeutics
All activities will be available by reservation only.
Distance between those engaging in physical activity will be maintained at 3 metres (9 feet) or more. Face masks will not be required during physical activity, but are required at all other times within the building. Please note that polcies may change as public health requirements are updated.
Reservations Open Starting Friday, June 11 @ 9:00 PM.
You must have a reservation/booking to utilize Westside facilities; those without a reservation will not be permitted entry.

Reservations will be available between the following hours:
Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Weekends 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Statutory Holidays Closed July 1/August 2
New! Ongoing reservations for facility activities open 8 days prior at 9:00 PM. For example: Reservations for spaces and classes on Monday, June 21 open on Sunday, June 13 @ 9:00 PM. Reservations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
What’s Coming Up?
- Registered programs, including day camps, swimming lessons, adult fitness programs will start Monday, July 26. Programs can be viewed online starting Monday, June 28 @ 9:00 AM. See Registered Programs for program details and registration opening dates.
Westside will continue working to reopen other areas and programs as we are able to develop suitable reopening strategies.
Your Membership/Monthly Pass
Reactivated Members: Your membership was placed on hold during our recent closure. If you are ready to reactivate once more, please complete the online Membership Reactivation form. You do not need to complete a new waiver.
Reactivated Pass Holders: Your monthly pass was frozen during our recent closure. If you are ready to restart your monthly pass, please complete the Monthly Pass Activation form. Westside staff will call you to complete the process.
Members on Hold since March 2020: Your membership has remained on hold. If you wish to reactivate at this time, please complete the online Membership Reactivation & Waivers.
Important: Both the Membership Reactivation Form and the Waiver Agreement(s) must be signed and submitted prior to reserving class or facility space. Once we have received a request, please allow up to 72 hours for Westside to reactivate your membership/pass. Please note that dependant memberships associated with an account will be reactivated in conjunction with the adult membership.
